Labyrinths: Selected Stories and Other Writings - Jorge Luis Borges, Donald A. Yates, James E. Irby It's not that there aren't some decent stories or intriguing essays in this collection but, overall, I just didn't find anything terribly interesting or profound anywhere.

I've found this to be true of many similar authors - Calvino, Levi, Flann O'Brien, etc. They all may be masters of their craft and geniuses but they don't often say anything to me.
